January 2016 Havana Street Workshop: Student Work – Take A Look…

I’ve now finished the student slideshow for the January Havana Street Workshop, which you can view above. It was an awesome time even thought the weather was very uncharacteristic for Havana at that time…it rained quite frequently. But we took advantage of the glistening streets and it never really got in our way.

Even when we went to our locations in style in the old convertibles– the rain managed to hold off until we had some cover. It was a great week…take a close look at the images from the students. You can see that they all went home with a great portfolio of the soon to be changing Havana. Awesome work guys!

Twice during the week, we take the most fun transportation available to our locations, but we can't resist shooting from the cars.

The people in Havana are so friendly and make it much less intimidating for those photographers new to the street.

I can’t wait to get back to Cuba. We decided to wait for the premiere hotel in Havana for our next workshop which we just added: May 28-June 3. We will be staying at the Parque Central, (which has several elevators) and is where our daily class critiques are held anyway. More on the next Havana Street Shooting Workshop Here.
