Video begins about 10 seconds in…

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, set in motion events that would change the course of life in the U.S. and around the world. I was asked by the photography website The Phoblographer to talk about my experiences photographing at Ground Zero soon after the attacks on 9-11.

As you will hear in this video interview, I was not there on that day but started photographing with my Nikon F100 and Try-X film toward the end of September.

I  looked back at some of my images from my project Empty Sky. I had not seen many of them for a very long time. I thought I would share with you some never before seen images that did not make the book.
